The Canadian Online Homeschool Conference is hosted by Lisa Marie Fletcher, the voice behind the site The Canadian Homeschooler. A homeschooling mom with 5 kids ranging in age from toddler to teenager, Lisa Marie's journey online has been to help her fellow home educators in Canada through sharing and creating resources while providing opportunities for homeschoolers to connect with each other and Canadian companies.
Our Story
The Vision
As a busy mom with a houseful of littles and a husband whose work schedule isn't flexible, Lisa Marie realized that she just couldn't make it to an in-person conference. She knew she wanted to run an online conference for other homeschoolers like herself. But, it seemed impossible (without spending outrageous amounts of money). After a few years of researching and looking into ideas, it's finally here!
The vision of this conference was to provide an online space that would include most, if not all, of the things that make an in-person conference appealing: amazing speakers, fantastic vendors to connect with, a buy & sell corner, and a way to interact with other homeschoolers.
