Josée Gervais is a Classical Conversations Support Representative for the Ottawa Area & Eastern Canada. She has a heart to see families strengthened. This extends to seeing families encouraged in their education journey, across Canada from Sea to Sea. Homeschooling mother of two girls, she and her husband Stéphane live just east of the Ottawa Area where she also is part of one of Ottawa’s Classical Conversations Homeschool Communities.

SESSION: HOW TO TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN ABOUT CANADIAN HISTORY
Canada is a beautifully diverse nation, and it can be a challenge to approach difficult times in history with children. We will be talking about the numerous benefits of studying History, learn about some Classical tools to engage them in a conversation to help them navigate these deeper issues while maintaining a compassionate outlook towards others. Armed with these tools, you will be able to navigate the good, the bad and the ugly all the while opening up your child’s world.
