KALLI DAKOS

Kalli Dakos has been delighting readers with poetry since the release of her best-seller If You’re Not Here, Please Raise Your Hand. Six of her books are Children’s Choice Selections, and she won an Award for Excellence in Poetry from the National Council of Teachers of English in 2022. She has three poetry books published with DC Canada. A former teacher and reading specialist, Kalli taught in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada. She celebrates a love of reading and writing in schools all over Canada and the U.S. She has an office in Ogdensburg, New York, and lives in Ottawa, Canada.
