I love learning so much that I have practically spent my entire life in school either as a student, a teacher, or a teacher trainer in Canada, the USA, and overseas. Having embarked on a homeschool journey from the get-go with my own 2 boys, I have devoted the past 10 years helping to establish a vibrant local homeschool community – organizing programs, field trips, and workshops. Now I am venturing outside the city limits and focusing on one subject only: Canadian Social Studies.

SESSION: EXCEEDING GOVERNMENT EXPECTATIONS FOR CANADIAN SOCIAL STUDIES

Want a PD Day? Lively is thrilled to be making her debut as a speaker at CANHSCON21. This session will be in-service training geared to homeschoolers with middle school and junior high school students. An introduction to elements of Curriculum Development and Instructional Design that will connect the dots and provide ideas for a more meaningful Social Studies program delivery. Don’t forget to bring a pen and notebook!
