SESSION: PRINTMAKING FOR KIDS
Join me and two of my favourite artists to learn printmaking for ages 2‐100! Printmaking involves transferring images, like a handmade stamp of sorts. With some simple tools from around your home, you can create art pieces like a pro!
Three types of printmaking we will demonstrate in our session:
- Mono Printing (Ages 2+)
- Polysterene Printing (Ages 4+)
- Lino Printing (Suggested for Ages 8+ or art enthusiasts who are confident with safety)

SESSION: WORKS OF ART WITH WOOL
Join me and two of my favourite artists to learn wet felting for ages 2‐100! Wet felting involves agitating wool with water and friction. With some simple supplies: roving wool, hand towels, plastic sandwich baggies, warm water and liquid soap, you will learn how to turn raw wool into works of art. During our session we will demonstrate landscape art, but we will also share samples of portraits and
landscapes we have created in previous years to give you a springboard for ideas. Grab your aprons and jump in!
Working alongside families for over 25 years, Sarah has gained experience as a Montessori and kindergarten teacher, nanny, art instructor and muralist. She now devotes her days to homeschooling her four children in rural Ontario, working creative projects into their days as much as possible. She keeps track of their homeschool highlights (omitting the lowlights!) on her blog ‘Windy Acres Workshop’
